Our inventory of homes for sale is above 50 for the first time since the beginning of November '15, thanks to a week that saw 20 new listings hit the market. This is good news for buyers, as up until just a couple weeks ago, our supply of listings was struggling to stay above 30.
Despite what felt like a very slow start to the year, Redwood City's sales numbers continue to impress. Through the first quarter of 2016, the average price per square foot of sales in Redwood City was $862, and the average sales price was $1,406,710. To put things into perspective, this time last year our average price per square foot was about $750 dollars, and our average sales price was around $1,350,000.
