Despite the slight drop-off in inventory this week, our stock of homes for sale is right on par with this time last year.
After a full quarter of real estate, it seems our price per square foot numbers have parked themselves comfortably in the mid-800's range, which is as good of an indicator as any of how much Redwood City real estate prices have appreciated. Through the first 3 months of 2016, our average price/SF was $862, as opposed to $829 in San Carlos. In fact, after Menlo Park, Redwood City's price per square foot numbers so far this year are the highest out of any city in the mid-peninsula (San Mateo, Foster City, Belmont, San Carlos, Redwood City, Menlo Park).
