11 sales went into contract last week in an average of just 8 days on the market. And of the 30 single family homes currently listed for sale in Redwood City, 14 of them have been on the market for a week or less.  I know this has been said time and time again in my updates as of late, but homes in Redwood City continue to move at breakneck pace, and well over the asking price.  That being said, if you stay vigilant in your search, get to the first weekend of open houses, preview homes and make-pre-emptive offers where possible, your persistence WILL eventually pay off.  The market is highly competitive in Redwood City right now, but that will make it all the more rewarding when you win.  It's a beautiful city with a central mid-peninsula location and a flourishing downtown - once you're in, you won't want to leave.
