Redwood City saw 18 new single-family homes hit the market last week, and only 1 was listed under $1 million. That was 644 MacArthur Avenue, a 2BD/1BA, 740 square foot home on just a 2,500 square foot lot. It doesn't present a lot of value-add potential given it has already been remodeled, and lacks the lot space for a sensible addition, but the nearby Stanford and Broadway developments could benefit the neighborhood in the long-run. It could suit a young family looking to break into the Redwood City market just fine.
HOME BUYERS: about 60% of our inventory has been on the market a week or less. Homes continue to sell fast, so it's important to take advantage of the influx of new listings and get out to see them as quickly as possible.
