2/12/2018 - 2/19/2018

15 listings went into contract last week, bringing our inventory of single-family homes for sale back down to 17.  Buyers are showing up in force to snatch up Redwood City real estate, and new listings simply can't come on the market fast enough to meet demand it seems.  This is great news for sellers, but probably a little frustrating for buyers struggling to make their offer stand out among other higher/more cash heavy offers.

Persistence pays off.  While getting repeatedly outbid on a home is certainly demoralizing, it is a par for the course for Bay Area buyers.  Stay motivated in your search, retool your offer strategy where necessary, and eventually you'll be picking up the keys to your new home.  There are ways to improve your offer that don't involve raising the price, but can make you stand out over another offer of a similar price.  Feel free to call any time to discuss buying strategies: (650) 862-2370
