Last week's 20 new listings matches this year's highest such value, which we saw once towards the end of April. For the past month or so, each week has brought a sizable crop of new homes for sale, presenting buyers with more opportunities than they have seen at any other point this year.
Buyers should seize these opportunities as they come. While the supply of homes for sale has been increasing of late, days on market is still remarkably low. There appears to be no shortage of buyers out there to meet the increased supply. This makes it important to get in to see homes you like as soon as you are able. Have your Realtor try to get you in before the open house. These homes can be, and often are, sold to a pre-emptive offer before ever seeing an open house.
