Inventory took a 10 listing hit over the long weekend, taking us back down to 24 active single-family homes for sale at the start of Tuesday. We are well under half of our May '16 inventory total, and about 40% under our '15 total. It's worth noting that the summer of 2015 went on to be historically tight for Redwood City inventory.
It's tough to recover any inventory when 17 homes go into contract in a week. It probably goes without saying, but that level of buyer activity is not sustainable in our current market. We'll be looking to see if inventory us able to rebound at all this week - stay tuned.
