10/29/2018 - 11/4/2018

We seem to have found our new norm for the Fall 2018 real estate market in Redwood City.  For the past 6 weeks now, our inventory has been hovering at about 82-85 single-family homes for sale.  While inventory has hit the 80's once or twice in the past couple of years, it hasn't stayed this high for more than a week at a time.  This stretch has been unlike anything we've seen in Redwood City for years, and it really has created a shift in the market that has allowed buyers to be patient and shop around without the same sense of urgency that's plagued them for so long.  But as I've mentioned before, the holidays tend to dry up inventory in a dramatic way, so this window of opportunity for buyers might not stay open for too much longer.
