With just 23 single family homes for sale in Redwood City coming into this week, our inventory is at just over a third of what it was this time last year. The Redwood City real estate market continues to set new seasonal inventory lows, making it all the more important for buyers to have an in-the-know Realtor who can get them in to see properties before they hit the market.
Among the 7 closed sales this week was RealSmart's listing at 1040 Lakeview in Emerald Hills, a beautiful mid-century modern home on a massive lot that sold for $2,420,000. It sold after just 7 days on the market for nearly $1,200 per square foot. Believe it or not, this wasn't the highest square price per square foot sale this week. A 620 SF tear down at 163 Cerrito just off Woodside Road sold for $1,225,000 - nearly $2,000 per square foot! However, this property was bought solely for the 7,850 square foot lot. This site will surely be home to a much larger (and brand new) home before long.
