Despite the forecast clearing up for the weekend, only 3 sellers decided to list their homes last weekend while 7 sales went pending. This brought our inventory all the way back down to just 20 single-family home for sale. By this time last year, we had already come close to having 40 homes for sale in Redwood City, so these past few weeks have set us back quite a bit. While I previously pointed to the heavy rains to help explain this trend, the clear weather over this past weekend, and more clear weather forecasted for this weekend could debunk that theory if we don't start to see more homes listed for sale.
